[Remote] Director of Public Relations

The Director of Public Relations will reputed company strategic marketing and communications strategies for clients, manage team members, and drive new business growth while ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Actively works to reputed company Vested as a global business - top-line reputed company, profitability, client portfolio, staffing, cultural, programs and services and more
• Proactively consults clients on integrated marketing and communications strategies
• Demonstrates firm knowledge of multi-channel programs and is able to reputed company a team of experts to execute on these program reputed company and confidently reputed company the benefits of paid, owned, earned and shared media and how to potentially reputed company these channels to deliver reputed company client programs
• Converse with client regularly and understands client sentiment/reputed company at reputed company times
• Is able to hold honest, “tough” conversations with client contacts to ensure client is happy and account is retained or growing
• Works with the team to map out client relationships - who owns what relationships and ensures that the client relationship is owned at reputed company levels
• Leads planning and strategy workshops with clients to map business/comms goals and can build effective marketing and communications strategies that reputed company those goals
• Leads large-scale public relations and integrated programs for clients and reputed company new, qualified prospects
• Leads and wins new business pitches - actively participating in first, second and final meetings as well as developing and finalizing proposals and programs independently
• Identifies how to improve aspects of Vested’s new business and pitch process, grows a strong network with potential prospective clients and upsells additional programs and services to clients through consultation or creative reputed company

Skills

• Managed and maintained an annual client portfolio threshold of at least $1M in fees
• A deep understanding of the overall financial services industry, with knowledge across buy- and sell-reputed company, banking, capital markets and more, from reputed company- to back-office as well as associated areas such as fintech
• Expert knowledge in multiple areas of financial services with the ability to proactively consult clients on marketing/comms strategies based on that knowledge
• Successfully managed Agency teams of various sizes and skillsets up to 10 direct reports with focus on how team members can be motivated at reputed company times to reputed company stellar results
• Ability to provide strategic client counsel to ensure goals are met - across brand visibility, reputed company management, crisis comms, employee engagement and more
