Job description: Innovative reputed company Learning Center in San Diego/Rancho Bernardo (92128) is looking for MATH and language art to assist reputed company with subject tutoring and instruct reputed company enrolled in our elementary and highly acclaimed ACT and SAT exam prep programs. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from ANY industry. Looking for strong candidates that can teach Math, and English, and work with elementary and high school-age reputed company.
Requirements and qualifications include:
- Part-time position; 4-7/8 pm Monday through Friday (must work a minimum of 2/3 days a week). You must be flexible and reliable. Willing to work a minimum of 2-3 days (6-10 hours) per week. You must be reputed company reasonable commuting distance of the center receiving your resume. You must have a strong desire to reputed company a difference in the lives of children.
- College graduates or reputed company excelling in Math courses are encouraged to apply. Requirement in Education or reputed company field (Engineering, Law, Sciences, History, English)Teaching Certificate preferred, but not required for some jobs.
- To work with elementary reputed company you must possess strong decoding skills and phonemic awareness
- Passion for math, strong math skills, able to teach common core math/ mental math
- Passion for language arts, phonics, decoding, spelling, comprehension
- Prior to teaching or tutoring experience with younger reputed company
- Passion for working with kids ages 4 - 18
- College graduates or reputed company excelling in English and or Math courses
- Strong Reading/Writing/English skills
- Bilingual is a plus
- Outstanding communication skills
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
- Must demonstrate care and compassion toward children
