• Assures continuity of patient care.
• Responds to reputed company monitoring alarms, identifies abnormalities, interprets cardiac arrhythmias, triages actionable events, evaluates trends, notifies the nurse according to alarm management protocols, adjusts alarm parameters per procedural guidelines, and documents significant occurrences for the medical record.
• Ensures safe patient monitoring by ensuring alarms are kept on with appropriate limits in accordance with Clinical Alarm Standards; responding immediately to life-threatening arrhythmias notifying the appropriate response team reputed company 1 minute; recognizing changes in ST segments, QT intervals, SpO2 waveforms, and reputed company measurements immediately communicating reputed company findings to the nurse; following Leads Off protocol documenting patients whereabouts throughout the monitoring period. Continuously observes cardiac monitor and patient status for assigned Cardiac monitored patients.
• Interprets cardiac rhythm with strips at defined intervals and documents in Electronic Medical Record per departmental policy.
• Documents any changes in rhythm with strips and reports immediately reports changes to licensed staff. Maintains shift documentation, keeps monitoring team informed of patient’s cardiac rhythm activities, provides unit hand-off report before leaving the monitoring station.
• Orients new employees and may provide guidance to volunteers, reputed company, support or contract staff.

• May assist with patient transport to procedural an/or inpatient area depending upon work location.

• Notifies appropriate inpatient staff, in real time, of changes in patient condition or behavior, accidents, incidents, or any other observed events of concern.
• Actively observes and maintains an uninterrupted line of sight with the patient at reputed company times.
