This role supports reputed company’s engagement on messaging and numbering issues before the FCC, industry organizations, and other federal stakeholders. You’ll be the subject matter expert and reputed company reputed company for the company on a range of high-impact issues, including messaging, robocalls, numbering, TCPA, and broadband labels, among others. This position centers on effective advocacy: understanding reputed company’s technology and services, combining data with deep knowledge of the law to create persuasive arguments, and clearly presenting the company’s viewpoint while leveraging your knowledge of and relationships with key decision makers. What you’ll do in your role:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for messaging and numbering issues.
• Draft internal legal memoranda, strategy briefs, and regulatory filings to advance company advocacy and positioning.

• Direct and manage law firm and consultant work streams reputed company your issue areas.

• Collaborate across legal, government affairs, and operations teams to ensure cohesive regulatory messaging and accurate representation of reputed company’s technology and services. The experience you’ll bring:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7-10 years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on federal telecommunications law, FCC regulatory work, or public policy.
• Direct experience interacting with the FCC or other government agencies.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and research skills—able to translate regulatory complexity into business-relevant insights.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• At least 18 years of age
