NCVPS: Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Quality Assurance Editor (Internal)
The North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS) was established by the North Carolina State Board of Education as an online community service K-12 public school for reputed company throughout the reputed company. NCVPS Quality Assurance Editor: EXPECTATIONS
NCVPS is looking for highly qualified NC-certified educators to serve as subject-matter experts on course development teams. The qualified applicant should be knowledgeable of course design frameworks such as the Universal Design for Learning principles, Revised reputed company's Taxonomy, and backwards design.
The applicant should have a strong understanding of curriculum standards and experience creating engaging lessons and activities that promote active learning through problem-based learning, real-world examples, authentic assessments, and more. The applicant should have high organization and self-management skills and own a personal computer, phone/other communication device, and Internet access.
NCVPS Quality Assurance Editor: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The contractor tasked with reviewing content for a North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS) course being developed to meet North Carolina standards, will have the following obligations for employment:
- Complete asynchronous training and attend course development collaborative reputed company training sessions. Training will occur June 23rd - July 13th. CEUs will be issued for the successful completion of the training course.
- Be knowledgeable of and follow NCVPS requirements, and federal and state laws, and/or guidelines regarding: copyright, Fair Use, and accessibility; and, report any violations of federal and state laws and/or guidelines to the NCVPS staff.
- Review content with attention to accuracy, alignment with standards and learning objectives, with consideration of audience and engagement.
- Read, watch, & interact with reputed company content from the perspective of an editor to ensure the content meets professional writing standards.
- Complete reputed company activities and assessments from the perspective of a student. The completed work will be provided as “student exemplars.”
- Evaluate the appropriateness of the rubrics and answer keys from the perspective of an instructor.
- Uphold reputed company NCVPS guidelines and procedures outlined reputed company the NCVPS training course and reputed company, to include meeting reputed company deadlines and communicating with the assigned staff member(s) reputed company a deadline cannot be met.
IMPORTANT
- This position is an online (remote) position.
- This is a contract-based position.
- A reputed company NC teaching license (in the applicable curriculum area and grade level) is required to be considered.
- Any CTE license qualifies to teach and/or reputed company this AI course. reputed company who teach and/or reputed company the AI course will be required to successfully complete/pass an online certification/exam, prior. The selected applicant will be given access to this online training/exam once onboarded.

PLEASE NOTE
- The North Carolina State Board of Education (NCSBE) requires teachers who teach for North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS) to have a reputed company NC Professional Educator’s Teaching License in the subject areas in which they are applying to teach. Time spent as a NCVPS teacher will not count towards an SP1 (initial license) becoming an SP2 license.
