Job Description:

Third Bridge has several products in its fast-growing Content business. As we continue to expand our breadth and depth of coverage across industries, we are recruiting Proofreaders across various products and shifts to join our Editorial team. 

You will join a highly collaborative, global team to help transform raw, verbatim transcripts of technical conversations into polished, error-free end products that are highly accurate, digestible and consistent in style, and that our clients can trust.

Work Hours: 3 PM - 12 AM IST

You will be responsible for…

  • Proofreading and editing to ensure each transcript of a technical conversation is accurate, grammatically sound and aligns with internal guidelines
  • Working across different product-specific guidelines and workflows daily
  • Turning around high-quality content to strict daily deadlines, always following Compliance and anonymisation requirements
  • Researching market events, terminology, figures and other important datapoints/information to confirm accuracy
  • Proactively and quickly resolving issues, including collaborating with adjacent content production teams
  • Escalating transcription errors and Style Guide misalignments
  • Curating brief profiles of experts that highlight the experience that is most relevant to the piece of content
  • Contributing to the development of internal guidelines and processes to continually improve content quality

  • Be able to balance multiple tasks, styles, deadlines and workflows effectively
  • Have a meticulous eye for detail, with outstanding research and proofreading skills 
  • Have an exceptional command of English spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation
  • Consider the client experience in your editorial decision-making
  • Be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats

  • Exposure to technical content spanning across a range of industries and topics, from cloud computing, retail and pharmaceuticals to aviation, semiconductors and real estate, and themes from ESG to macroeconomic updates
  • Hands-on training and a lot of support from managers on developing the ability to navigate several editorial guidelines across several products concurrently  
  • Thorough ongoing training on editing in several styles and contexts and on effective prioritisation that keeps client impact/experience at its core
  • Access to first-hand insights from industry experts, ranging from C-level executives at multinational corporations to employees of local start-ups
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ professional experience in a proofreading/editorial role 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiar with financial content and business and/or industry-specific terminology
