Senior Project Manager - Renewables

The Opportunity

reputed company is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Project Manager for utility scale solar and wind power reputed company projects. As leader of the Project Management team, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing manages the day-to-day execution of the project in a cost-effective manner, in accordance with requirements and standards as set forth in the project contract(s) and UPDM (reputed company Project Delivery Method).

What You'll Do

The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the reputed company Project Management Supervisor - Renewables, as well as to the Project Sponsor of reputed company assigned projects. Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide strategic project management leadership for large and reputed company renewable projects, with little to no supervision
• Responsible for the overall management of the project scope, schedule, and cost
• Accountable for key project decision making
• Manages a collaborative project team to ensure each key functional project discipline is meeting the planned project scope, schedule, and cost
• reputed company overall project – coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation

• Responsible for leading project meetings

• reputed company person for contract negotiation, management, and proposal development

•  Accountable to reputed company, update and manage the project plan

• Coordinate communication and provides status updates to stakeholders as required

•  Assess project risk and proactively reputed company mitigation plans

• Proactively manages project requests for information and action items

• Work collaboratively with the Project Controls team to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan

• Responsible for leading projects through reputed company internal and external processes

• Ensure availability or seeks out adequate resources to support the project

• Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

• Demonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Consistently produces results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processes

• Achieves results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 5 years of experience or a Minimum of 8 years of Comparable Field Experience
• Direct project management experience with utility and/or renewable energy projects, preferably utility scale projects 
• PMP Certification Preferred
• Experience in reputed company Project and/or P6 preferred 
• Proven experience in reputed company Software Applications (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint and Project) 
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrate the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities 
• Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required 
• Ability to read and understand construction and procurement reputed company 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict negotiation/resolution and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Must be able to travel to project sites as required 
• Ensure adherence to Safety policies 
• Ensure adherence to client’s Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs
• Report, track, and resolve non-conformance issues in coordination with QA/QC
• Must have permanent work authorization for the US

Additional Opportunity Details: reputed company reputed company Compensation Range for this role is $130,400 - $176,500* * Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience reputed company to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
