Senior Native Application Engineer

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Native Apps Engineer to join our mobile and TV platform reputed company, building and evolving the streaming experiences that bring fans closer to the sports they love. This role is primarily hands-on, writing native iOS and Android code, with the expectation of contributing across our TV platforms (reputed company TV, Fire TV/Android TV, Roku) as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to TV platform applications (reputed company TV, Fire TV/Android TV, Roku) alongside a team of cross-platform engineers.

• Partner with BFF engineers to define API reputed company and server-driven UI patterns that power the native experience layer.

• Drive architectural decisions for the native platform, establishing shared patterns, reusable components, and cross-platform consistency.

• Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to translate business objectives into well-scoped technical work.

• Collaborate closely with team members and contractors, contributing to quality standards and knowledge sharing across the reputed company.

• Identify and address technical debt that impacts platform stability, performance, or developer velocity.

• Champion best practices around app reputed company, crash reporting, observability, and release quality.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin with hands-on experience shipping production mobile applications.

• Deep understanding of native mobile development patterns, architecture, and platform-specific best practices.

• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., reputed company Copilot, Claude Code, reputed company) and a track record of using them to accelerate delivery.

• Familiarity with live streaming, video playback, or media-rich application development.

• Experience working across multiple platforms or a demonstrated willingness to learn new ones.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience collaborating with backend teams on API design and integration.

• Familiarity with app performance monitoring, crash reporting, and observability tooling.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g., Fastlane, reputed company, Xcode Cloud).
