reputed company (GT) is a global law firm with an exciting employment opportunity for a junior Associate reputed company their Corporate Practice in the DC office. The role involves working with clients across various industries and requires experience in lender and borrower-reputed company financings, including drafting and reviewing credit agreements and reputed company documents.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country
- Draft, review, and revise credit agreements, debt commitment letters, reputed company agreements, and closing deliverables, including secretary’s certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, schedules, and exhibits
- Take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction, and work product
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in lender and/or borrower-reputed company financings
- Experience in syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings and/or asset-based lending
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and revising credit agreements, debt commitment letters, reputed company agreements and closing deliverables, including secretary's certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, schedules, and exhibits
- Strong academic background
- Superior drafting and negotiation skills
- Willingness to take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction and work product

- Experience in representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies would be beneficial
