Position Summary

The Experienced Recruiter serves as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with Hiring Managers and the Director of Talent Acquisition to drive end-to-end recruitment for experienced hires across various office locations. This role is instrumental in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent within public accounting, including tax, audit, and advisory professionals. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-driven recruiter with a proven track record in professional services environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and the Director of Talent Acquisition to align recruiting strategies with business objectives and workforce plans for a growing firm.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for experienced accounting professionals, ensuring seamless and high-quality candidate experience.
  • Proactively engage passive candidates through innovative strategies, leveraging Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to build a robust talent pipeline for ready-to-hire roles.
  • Cultivate trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the public accounting market to attract candidates in tax and other areas assigned.
  • Promote the firm’s employer brand through strategic outreach, relationship management, and consistent representation of firm culture and values.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, ideally within public accounting or professional services.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, assessing, and closing high-performing tax professionals.
  • Track record of filling tax roles in public accounting (a plus)
  • Strong understanding of talent market dynamics in public accounting
  • Proficiency with Workday (preferred) and other ATS/sourcing platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional organization, prioritization, and follow-through abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with flexibility of hours during peak seasons.
