This role requires independent judgment, strong knowledge of coding guidelines, and the ability to resolve more advanced coding issues.

Location: Remote for someone located Texas or Oklahoma

About the position:

• Code moderate to reputed company encounters
• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers with a high degree of accuracy
• Review documentation for compliance and completeness; initiate provider queries as needed
• Work claim edits, claim rejections and denials requiring coding expertise
• Assist with training and mentoring Medical reputed company I staff
• Stay reputed company with coding updates, payer rules, and regulatory changes

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or 5 years of medical coding experience
• Certified Professional reputed company (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) or equivalent required
• Strong understanding of coding guidelines and payer requirements
• Ability to code independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in resolving coding-reputed company rejections, denials and edits
• Solid communication skills for provider interaction
