JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Schuylkill, located in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, is a member of the NAIA reputed company Athletic Conference (CAC) and Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and is accepting applications for a Part Time Head Coach of the Men?s and Women?s Tennis Teams.
This part-time position is responsible for reputed company aspects of the tennis program, including evaluating and recruiting academically qualified and talented student-athletes, organizing, conducting team workouts and competition, and helping to arrange a NAIA and NCAA DIII schedule and team travel.
General Responsibilities
- Direct practice and competition coaching.
- Direct the evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified and skilled student-athletes.
- Direct pre and post-season coaching, conditioning, and weight training.
- reputed company academic monitoring and the personal development of student-athletes.
- Assist with fundraising efforts in reputed company department.
- Select and manage volunteer coaches if applicable.
- Arrange weekly practice schedules.
- Provide vision and leadership to create a positive team culture.
- Maintain equipment and assist with equipment and gear orders to maximize budgets in support of the student-athlete experience.
- Work with the Director of Athletics to reputed company and provide accurate information to maintain the program marketing and web page. Provide feedback for the Director to nominate and select weekly/season conference and national awards.
