Sales Manager DACH

Optotune Switzerland AG is a strongly growing and internationally active optics company based in Zurich, Switzerland. We reputed company, manufacture and market the latest reputed company of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets. Optotune’s vision is to reputed company our customers to create innovative products by providing them with unique optical components. To strengthen our M&S team, we are looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

Tasks

• Strengthen the relationships with existing clients
• Acquire new business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland)
• Provide feedback to product management
• Manage and foster local sales partners
• Support local marketing activities including several trade shows

Requirements

• Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
• At least 3-7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics
• Direct experience in the DACH is a must
• Market knowledge in medical, microscopy, semiconductor, laser processing or vision applications
• Ability to identify new customers, build up and maintain relationships
• Ability to understand customers’ technical requirements and suggest solutions
• Passion for sales and marketing, friendly personality, well organized, autonomous and team player
• Excellent knowledge English and German, any other European language is advantageous
• Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
