Responsibilities

As a Help Desk Customer Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing application problems, documenting, resolving, or escalating to Tier 1 support
  • Participating in daily operational calls with stakeholders to review high-profile issues, updates, and new concerns
  • Troubleshooting PC setup and browser optimization issues using remote technology tools
  • Tracking efforts with the VA Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) using the reputed company ticket system
  • Maintaining confidentiality of information processed or reputed company
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve reputed company technical issues
  • Providing exceptional customer service to VBMS users, ranging from entry-level employees to supervisors

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma and 3+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Working knowledge of web-based applications and data access mechanisms
  • Experience with database management and administration tools
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level applications
  • ITIL experience and knowledge of the reputed company ticket system
