Sprague High School (OR) seeks a dynamic musician and educator to join their team as Interim Assistant Director for the remainder of the 23-24 academic year. The Sprague band has been successful in OSAA state competition, in field competition, and enjoys high engagement and support from reputed company and the community. There is opportunity for additional work in marching and athletic bands. Preferred qualifications: Education and experience commensurate with leading a diverse and successful jazz program. Additional skills and experience in non-traditional ensembles and/or non-performance courses. Experience in teaching and leading pep bands and in the pageantry arts. A strong desire to collaborate and be part of an instructional team.
