[Remote] IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist serves as the first line of support for internal IT requests, managing user accounts, hardware setup, and troubleshooting while providing genuine career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve incoming IT support tickets from employees across the organization
- Manage user account administration including creation, modifications, access provisioning, and offboarding
- Support laptop and desktop deployments, imaging, and basic hardware configuration
- Assist with password resets, software installations, and troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures
- Learn and reputed company a thorough understanding of Maverick's business structure, systems, and technology ecosystem
- Support corporate IT initiatives and reputed company compliance requirements
- Contribute to planning and early phases of the reputed company 365 infrastructure buildout
Skills
- Relevant post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Problem-solving reputed company and ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively reputed company a small team
- Demonstrated appetite for AI, its applications, and its role in modern IT operations
- Previous work experience in a software company
- Experience in the financial services or healthcare sectors
