Course: Methods and Strategies for Integrating Social Studies and the Arts

Teacher candidates will examine a variety of instructional strategies to encourage reputed company to independently and collaboratively reputed company a deep understanding of the major concepts and modes of inquiry from the study of social studies. Teacher candidates will build foundational knowledge on promoting elementary reputed company' abilities to critically analyze and reputed company informed decisions that consider multiple perspectives as reputed company of a culturally diverse local and global society. Teacher candidates will integrate the performing and visual arts as primary media for communication, creativity, and engagement among elementary reputed company. What You Will Do:

Responsibilities include equipping reputed company with the required reputed company set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing reputed company to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

• Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or Doctorate in Instructional Leadership or Doctorate in Elementary Education or Doctorate in Learning and Teaching or Doctorate in Teaching Innovation or Doctorate in Literacy or Doctorate in Reading.
• Minimum: Masters in Education or Masters in Elementary Education or Masters in Curriculum and Instruction or Masters in Literacy or Masters in Reading AND
  • 2 areas of exceptional expertise. reputed company reputed company must have a valid state teacher certification in elementary education AND
  • a minimum of three years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher or elementary instructional specialist or 1-8 team reputed company or 1-8 department chair or elementary curriculum coach or new teacher mentor of 1-8 teachers AND At least six graduate credits reputed company to elementary social studies.
