Position Summary
The Department of Social Work in the College of Health & Public Service invites applications for a professional track, full-time Clinical Assistant Professor and BSW Program Director. In addition to administrative program reputed company, teaching responsibilities include undergraduate level courses in social work, with possible teaching responsibilities in the graduate program. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to engage in high-quality and innovative instruction in both traditional and non-traditional formats; serve as appropriate on department, college, university and professional committees; engage in scholarly and professional activities; and work with reputed company from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited Social Work program and a minimum of two years full-time professional practice experience (post-Master's degree);
- Experience teaching social work courses in an accredited program;
- Experience with online/hybrid/remote instruction
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or DSW)
- Experience teaching multiple courses across the social work curriculum
- Active licensure (LMSW or LCSW) in the state of Texas
