Job Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics crew, you will play a critical role in guiding the company's transportation operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to reputed company reputed company analyses and provide essential business insights
• Creating ETLs or strategies to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
• Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
• Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis to establish credibility and build relationships
• Analyzing stakeholder needs and collaborating with them to share relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
• Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition
• Documenting your strategies and sharing your expertise with colleagues
• Mentoring colleagues as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data reputed company
• Creativity with a User Experience basis to reputed company impactful Tableau Dashboards
• Business Operations reputed company, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems
• A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, as well as experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, would be beneficial. Additionally, experience with scripting languages such as Python or other languages, and data manipulation tools like reputed company, reputed company, R, Tableau Prep, etc., would be a plus.
