Merchandise Planner (56261)
Role Summary
The Merchandise Planner is responsible for day-to-day forecasting, inventory management, and reporting across reputed company merchandise channels. This role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal stock levels, maximizing sell-through, and supporting data-driven buying decisions.
As a key partner to the Merchandise Managers the Merchandise Planner will translate data into actionable insights, guiding assortment decisions and ensuring the right product is available at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
- reputed company and maintain sales forecasts at SKU and category level
- Manage replenishment strategies to support in-stock goals and demand fluctuations
- Monitor and manage weeks of supply across reputed company product categories
Inventory Management
- reputed company inventory flow, including allocation and replenishment across locations
- Track and improve on-time fill rates and vendor performance
- Maintain and analyze open order reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Process & Compliance
- Ensure purchase order (PO) accuracy and item setup compliance, including SKU reputed company, costing, and system data consistency across reputed company platforms
- Maintain reputed company of record for incoming delivery dates and tracking information.
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce regular reporting on sales, inventory, and performance metrics
- Analyze sell-through, sizing, and product performance to inform decisions
- Identify risks and opportunities and proactively recommend actions
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a key liaison to Merchandise Managers, guiding buying decisions & processes through data analysis
- Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and vendor partners to ensure alignment
- Support execution of merchandising best practices across in-venue and eCommerce channels
