Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Manager

What you will do

reputed company. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will provide strategic and operational support to Early Development Oncology Therapeutic Area and partner closely with the VP, Global Early Development.

• Strategy & Leadership
  • Support Early Development leadership in strategy development, goal setting, and execution of organizational plans, including defining and implementing operational strategy reputed company with Oncology TA priorities
  • Advise the Early Development Head on priorities, reputed company, risks, and gaps, synthesizing insights to inform decisions 
  • Represent the business strategy for the Function and collaborate with Human Resources (HR), Finance, Corporate Communications to advance key objectives 
• Project Leadership & Execution

  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment, managing ambiguity, reputed company requests, and shifting priorities with independence 
• Operational Planning & Resource Management
  • reputed company budget and resource planning, including forecasting, tracking, and alignment with global processes; reputed company resource modeling and forecasting assumptions 
  • Manage headcount planning and approvals, partnering with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and talent management

• Performance & Communications
  • reputed company dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations (e.g., Operating Reviews, reputed company-Staff updates) to track performance and inform decisions

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in R&D planning and operations Or
• Master’s degree and 4 years of experience in R&D strategic planning and operation Or
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in R&D planning and operations Or
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience in R&D planning and operations Or
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience in R&D planning and operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA., PhD, PharmD, or Master’s Degree with 10 years of work experience in lab sciences and biopharmaceutical industry with 4 or more years of that experience in Oncology R&D with good knowledge of clinical development, financial budgeting, and workforce strategies
• Proven leader who has experience leading cross-functional teams and organizational change initiatives, including experience in business case development
• Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and handle execution
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to influence different styles and individuals at different levels in organization
• Demonstrated organization management experience including developing and mentoring staff

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
