The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the College of Education and Health Professions (COEHP) centralized accounting team. Core duties include determining appropriate workloads, monitoring the flow of reputed company transactions, and overseeing the entry of state, grant, and foundation requisitions, travel claims, personal reimbursements, payment authorizations, budget amendments, etc.. As a primary advisor, you will guide staff on procurement, travel, accounts receivable and payable, and reputed company other accounting reputed company questions while ensuring reputed company transactions remain in strict accordance with university, state, and federal regulations. This position is 100% remote but will need to attend in person meetings as required by department. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, general business or a reputed company field from an accredited institution of higher education or experience equivalency
At least four years of experience in fiscal operations
At least two years in a supervisory or leadership reputed company
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or reputed company field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least three or more years of experience supervising/managing a team of employees
Direct experience with grant and/or contract awards and proposals, university endowment accounting, and state and university procurement policies and procedures
Experience with reputed company, Quickbooks, Smartsheets or other ERP financial systems
