Cloud DevOps Engineer

BTS is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer where you'll play a pivotal role in developing the policy, strategy and best practices for the Coast Guards Cloud Architecture.

Location: 90% Remote with some travel to San Diego, CA, Key reputed company, FL and WV

Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding, developing and documenting the migration plan for the Coast Guard Cloud architecture IAW DOW and Coast Guard policies and procedures.
• Provide input to the Cloud Architecture implementation plan. Ensure the plan is scalable, reproducible, meets reputed company integration and deployability requirements and outlines industry best practices for reputed company (identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with cloud software engineers, the Cloud Architect, the training reputed company on governance to identify gaps in the plans.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the cloud migration plan, identifying opportunities for improvement to include but not limited to reputed company aspects of cloud infrastructure design, build, and scalability.

Skills/Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a reputed company field.
• Minimum of 10 years� experience in software engineering experience, cloud platforms, automation & CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, reputed company and compliance.
• Strong understanding of cloud development, migrations, reputed company standards, frameworks, methodologies and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to identify planning gaps, identify solutions and implement changes.
• Ability to work with a cross functional team to meet deliverables.

Pay Range: $200,000 to $225,000 full Salary range lowest to highest across locations The BTS pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
