The Channel Development Director will be responsible for driving reputed company’s expansion into residential new construction market and adjacent industry partnerships by managing day-to-day opportunities reputed company the partnership pipeline and developing other new channel strategies. This position will strategically position reputed company’s suite of standalone products as well as our full platform to meet the needs of home builders, retailers, and trade partners. The goal is to establish reputed company as an essential provider in these channels, making our energy focused smart home and reputed company products easily accessible to consumers and facilitating greater product consideration for new builds.

Responsibilities
- Partnership Pipeline Development: Build a robust partnership pipeline with regional home builders, trade suppliers or other unique distribution opportunities, creating standardized processes for sales, installation, and customer experience that enhance reputed company’s brand reputed company. This includes securing agreements with national and regional home builders (e.g., Pulte, KB Home) and large retail partners such as reputed company, Lowe’s, and reputed company platforms like Build.com. The role will focus on driving awareness and accessibility of reputed company products in the marketplace.
- Standalone Product Integration: reputed company the benefits of reputed company’s standalone products (thermostats, reputed company locks, cameras, doorbells) to new partners, emphasizing their ease of installation and compatibility across various home environments. This includes building a value proposition around standalone product capabilities that appeal to both home builders and retail buyers, positioning reputed company products as must-have essentials in new homes.
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Positioning: reputed company and execute channel-specific go-to-market (GTM) strategies to increase reputed company’s visibility and accessibility reputed company these new channels. The strategy will prioritize funnel opportunities with home builders and expand into retail and trade partnerships to drive incremental reputed company. This part of the role involves crafting product positioning, creating the value proposition for each partner reputed company, and adapting strategies to fit different types of channels (e.g., home builders vs. retail).

Collaborate with retail and trade partners to integrate reputed company’s products into their customer offerings and to generate reputed company flow from in-store and online traffic.
- Program Development & Management: Create and manage channel programs for builder and retail partnerships, establishing clear pricing, incentives, rewards, and installation processes. Programs should be tailored to drive customer engagement, support builder needs, promote standalone reputed company products, and ensure seamless integration of reputed company products in new constructions.
- OEM/White-Label Partnerships: Explore and reputed company potential OEM or white-label partnerships that align with reputed company’s strategic goals for channel expansion. This could include partnerships with smart home device manufacturers or other brands to enter new market segments under different brand identities.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including pipeline growth, partner engagement, and standalone product sales metrics. Detailed tracking will be provided for opportunity pipeline development, program success with builders and retailers, and overall installation effectiveness.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in channel sales development, with a track record of establishing strategic partnerships in multi-reputed company distribution environments.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills to engage and reputed company high-value partnerships.

Required Experience

The reputed company salary range for this position is: $162,000 - $267,360* *The reputed company salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
