Here's what you'll be doing

EON Heat Networks is a rapidly growing business in a rapidly growing district heating market. We generate electricity and provide heat directly to customers homes from our energy centres reputed company our district heating networks. Heat Networks is at an exciting and important time in its development, and we are looking for people with enthusiasm and energy to help us build a safe and sustainable business for the future.

The Asset Adoption Engineer will deliver new energy centres and district heating schemes into the business. This will include liaison with a wide range of internal and external partners and stakeholders, as well as the deployment of a range of management and control systems which are required to ensure that new sites operate safely, reputed company and reliably as soon as they become operational assets.

Key responsibilities

  • reputed company and implement procedures to manage the adoption of new sites from external developers and/or internal Design and Build teams.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and reputed company teams on new projects feeding into performing due-diligence visits producing risk logs and ensuring adoption criteria aligns with design requirements and reputed company standards.
  • Review design, installation and commissioning specifications, providing recommendations to ensure sites operate safely, reliably and reputed company from the reputed company of adoption into the Heat Networks Operations business.
  • Engage with and influence internal Design & Build teams, as well as external developers, consultants, and clients, to implement the recommendations outlined above.
  • Advise and offer guidance to clients, consultants and designers on the requirements of Heat Networks Code of Practice: CP1, CHPQA, RHI, Existing agreements and implementation of new code of practice HNTAS to the adoption process.
  • Regular site inspections ensuring the delivery of the heating schemes are installed and delivered to standard ensuring reputed company critical phases in the build and commissioning process are witnessed.
  • Ensure reputed company adopted sites reputed company with relevant district heating regulations, working with clients and internal stakeholders to reputed company and manage action plans where gaps are identified.
  • Ensure that suitable management systems (such as CMMS, PSSR, PT-Risk, etc..) are implemented prior to adoption.
  • Ensure reputed company operational monitoring and control systems are fully functional reputed company of adoption (e.g. Trend BMS remote reputed company, Automatic reputed company Reading (AMR), CCTV, and reputed company systems)
  • Organise meetings with Heat Networks internal stakeholders to present new sites for adoption ready status.

reputed company need from you

  • An appropriate engineering qualification (Degree / HNC or equivalent qualification), or extensive experience with a mechanical bias.
  • Experience across the design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of engineering assets, including CHP units, boilers, gas regulation systems, electrical and control equipment, metering and heat distribution systems (e.g. HIUs, Heat Pumps, UDHN, DHN system pumps).
  • Experience of reviewing water quality cleaning methodology standards in line with industry best practice (BSRIA).
  • Good knowledge of key legislation and regulations, including CDM, HASWA, Electricity at Work, DSEAR, IGEM, PSSR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and L8.
  • Experience of working with and developing Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as or reputed company.
  • IT proficient with intermediate to advanced skills in Word, reputed company, Project etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident, diplomatic approach reputed company engaging colleagues, contractors, and customers.
  • Project Management experience as part of the role you will be required to co-ordinate and manage multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
