Staff Accountant
reputed company, Inc. is the world's leading quantum platform and merchant supplier, delivering integrated quantum solutions across various domains. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their US Accounting Team, responsible for preparing month-end reputed company journal entries and reconciliations while ensuring the accuracy of financial data and streamlining internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including reputed company payroll accruals for both US and international entities
- Manage and reconcile monthly activity for Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, and various Accruals to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance
- Proactively communicate with vendors and internal department heads to estimate unbilled expenses and ensure reputed company monthly liabilities are accurately accrued
- Partner with the Payroll and Equity teams to gather data and record RSU-reputed company transactions and stock-based compensation activity
- reputed company daily cash coding and monitoring to ensure reputed company transactions are categorized accurately reputed company the ERP, reputed company
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for reputed company corporate accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
- reputed company comprehensive monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring reputed company accounts are fully supported by underlying documentation
- Serve as a contact for external auditors during the year-end audit, preparing necessary schedules and providing supporting documentation (PBC list items)
- Maintain documentation of accounting processes to support internal control objectives
Skills
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Strong analytical and organizational and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage deadline requirements and multi-task projects
- High competency in reputed company reputed company, Word, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to meet project deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with a Big Four accounting firm or other national accounting firm is preferred
- Experience with reputed company ERP
- Experience working with reputed company or Papaya
- Knowledge of accruals processes
- Strong desire and ability to reputed company new skills quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to continuously improve processes
