Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist - Pain Management, you will be responsible for:

• Providing complete and accurate patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification
• Coordinating and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Managing inbound and outbound calls, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving concerns in a professional manner
• Verifying patient information, coverage, and hospital account details
• Performing electronic and manual verification of insurance coverage and understanding how to read and accurately apply electronic insurance responses
• Preparing and releasing records or orders in the e-Health record
• Completing documentation for compliance and regulatory needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 1 year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience in a highly customer-oriented organization
• 1 year of experience with basic keyboarding, personal computer use, and other office setting equipment
• Preferred experience with registration, reputed company of service collection, insurance validation, and order release processes
• Previous Epic or equivalent Electronic Medical Record experience preferred
