This ten-month, renewable, non-tenure track appointment begins August 1, 2024. This position is benefits-eligible with the opportunity for promotion. MA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or closely reputed company field with TESOL Certificate with experience teaching ESL at the post-secondary level, preferably including at least two years teaching in an IEP. The PIE lecturer will teach up to 20 hours per week during each 8-week session and help with student orientation, testing, placements, and final evaluations at the beginning and end of each session. Classes meet 5 days per week between 8:00am - 5:00pm.
