MEDICAL ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (In-Person + Virtual)

Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled medical assistant who can instruct at the high school level. The position will consist of in-person teaching at a high school site (67%) and virtual instruction (33%). Classes: the online portion would teach Medical Careers. The in-person courses would 1 Medical Assistant Class, 1 Body Systems Class, and Externships for the rest of the assignment. Under the direction of an Instructional Administrator, a Regional Occupational Program (ROP) instructor provides instruction to secondary school reputed company in competency-based, career technical education courses in order to prepare them for college and career. ROP classes are taught by reputed company who have trained and worked in the industry they are teaching. Once hired, reputed company must enter a teacher credential program and ROP provides additional training and coaching support. Many ROP classes provide real-world experience by placing reputed company in work-based learning.
