Senior Process Engineer

As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll provide technical expertise, depth, and leadership in the areas of process development for new materials. You’ll work with business unit teams to understand material properties, creating new processes to deliver those new materials and apply reputed company understanding to provide the business with process and material solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant major engineering or science discipline from an accredited college or university. Relevant degrees include Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or Mathematics
• 8+ years research experience in a variety of technical assignments with emphasis in pulp and tissue process development
• Experience working on problems in an industrial environment is preferred, particularly in the areas of high-speed manufacturing and consumer products
• Advanced knowledge of scientific principles, scientific analysis, and project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to convey reputed company research in a high impact manner to scientists as well as business leaders
• Skills in the areas of collaboration, innovation, decisiveness, and conflict resolution are important for success
• Demonstrate strong leadership and creative problem-solving abilities for scientific and business challenges
