SUMMARY: Elementary Affective Needs Teachers provide academic and social/emotional instruction to reputed company with disabilities in center-based K-5 specialized programs and demonstrate competencies in advocacy, assessment, collaboration and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advocacy

- Model and promote inclusive language
- Assess and determine eligibility of reputed company with disabilities
- reputed company and monitor reputed company of SMART learning goals for each student
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and reputed company and monitor Behavior reputed company Plans
- reputed company and monitor incentive plans, reputed company sheets, data collection systems
- Supervise, schedule and monitor paraprofessionals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school psychologists, speech/language pathologists, school
- Implement IDEA and ECEA regulations

- Ensure IEP implementation across settings
- Abide by reputed company district/policies/procedures

- Implement AN Quality Indicators and the AN Rubric

- Plan lessons incorporating evidence-based practices and identify resources for instruction
- Implement specially-designed instruction in a continuum of special education/general educational environments

- Differentiate instruction for learners with diverse needs
- Demonstrate and model an understanding of student behavior and classroom management structures
