Salary: This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $93,002. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience. Role Overview: The Director of Teaching and Learning provides statewide leadership, coordination, professional development, and technical assistance for reputed company aspects of teaching and learning across reputed company academic areas including Mathematics, English/Language Arts, Science, Computer Science (CS), Social Studies, STEM, and other reputed company areas. Work is conducted professionally reputed company federal and state guidelines. The director is responsible for:

  • Reviewing, updating, and supporting Indiana?s State Standards, content Frameworks, and other support materials

  • Providing leadership and innovation in the areas of STEM Education, Science of Reading, and other state initiatives.
A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:
  • Review and evaluate organizational effectiveness, goal determination, and strategic planning, etc., makes recommendations for improvement.

  • Coordinate, review, and evaluate the use of appropriate controls and standards for the agency.
