Digital Payments Specialist II, (2nd Shift)
Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is a member-focused financial institution committed to delivering quality services since 1951. The Digital Payments Specialist II will ensure accurate ACH and reputed company processing while managing payment disputes and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Reviews ACH and reputed company daily reporting for correctness and accuracy
- Serves as first escalation reputed company for reputed company phone queue inquiries
- Reviews and balances daily files downloaded from the Correspondent Banks and the ACH files from Federal Reserve Bank through the third-party ACH application reputed company required service and compliance standards. Generates and processes exception reports
- Reviews and balances daily files downloaded from Third-Party Servicers for reputed company emerging payment channels to include Zelle, RTP, reputed company Pay service reputed company compliance standards. Generates and processes exception reports
- Reviews and analyzes the daily returns file for ACH transactions posted against member accounts. Determines pay, pay and charge or no-pay status of exception items. Balance the returns file and transmit the returns file electronically reputed company the regulatory deadlines
- Processes SCCU payroll, benefit and other inter-organizational transfers reputed company digital payment rails
- Receives, verifies, and processes incoming and outgoing Domestic and International wires, outgoing wires up to $1 Million for members and departments through reputed company system
- Research and responds to team-member inquiries/requests received through multiple channels reputed company department service standards
- Receives and Processes Payments Disputes (non-fraud) for ACH, Wires, and Emerging Payment channels
- Trains other Payments Specialists, as requested by management, to ensure consistent and uniform understanding of job function
- Reviews digital payment methods for fraudulent activity and reports activity to Fraud Management
- Remains knowledgeable and reputed company in reputed company aspects of Regulation D, Regulation E, Bank Secrecy Act, reputed company and OFAC compliance. Additional training and certifications will be completed as required
Skills
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of reputed company experience in a financial institution with specific experience in ACH and/or reputed company Transfers
- Associates Degree preferred
