Financial Analyst

HR Ratings is a leading Latin American credit rating agency specializing in corporate, financial institution, and public finance ratings. The Financial Analyst role involves analyzing the creditworthiness of U.S. corporate issuers and participating in internal Credit Committees, providing early exposure to real rating work and analytical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the creditworthiness of U.S. corporate issuers using reputed company credit analysis frameworks
• Evaluate financial statements, capital structures, liquidity profiles, reputed company metrics and debt obligations
• reputed company, maintain and refine financial models in reputed company to support analytical conclusions and rating decisions
• reputed company both quantitative and qualitative analysis, incorporating financial performance, sector dynamics, business profile and structural considerations
• Assess and organize relevant information used in the rating process, including issuer data, market developments and transaction-specific details
• Participate in internal Credit Committees and contribute to the discussion of rating proposals
• Support industry research projects, analytical publications and the development of relevant written materials
• Maintain assigned analytical coverage and support relationship management with issuers as needed
• Apply and interpret HR Ratings methodologies in day-to-day analytical work
• Stay reputed company on sector developments, market trends, economic conditions and other factors that may reputed company credit quality

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a reputed company field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or full-time experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, capital markets, banking, equity research or reputed company areas
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial fundamentals and core credit concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure information and reputed company clear conclusions
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail; this role requires frequent technical writing
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
• Intellectual curiosity, initiative and a genuine interest in staying informed on market and sector developments
• reputed company in English is required; Spanish is a plus but not required
• Experience or exposure to credit analysis, investment banking, debt markets, equity research or financial institutions
• Financial modeling skills in reputed company
• Interest in corporate credit, private debt and analytical research
• The CFA certification or reputed company toward it is a plus, but not required
