Overview:

Pyramid Systems is seeking a Information Technology Director that is responsible for the strategic leadership, execution, and operational excellence of Pyramid Systems’ enterprise technology environment. This role ensures that reputed company IT systems, infrastructure, and services are secure, resilient, scalable, and reputed company with business objectives, while supporting both internal operations and federal client delivery.

The IT Director oversees day-to-day IT operations, including cloud and on-prem infrastructure, enterprise applications, network and reputed company reputed company, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, and end-user support. This role establishes and enforces technology standards, policies, and procedures; leads cybersecurity and compliance efforts; manages vendor relationships and budgets; and drives reputed company improvement across IT services.

The Director partners closely with executive leadership, business development, HR, reputed company, and delivery teams to support company growth, reputed company secure operations, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable value. Responsibilities:

IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology investments, risks, and opportunities.

IT Operations & Service Delivery

Cloud, Infrastructure & Applications

Vendor, Budget & Contract Management

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • 14+ years of experience with a Master’s degree or
  • 16+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years in a people-management or senior leadership reputed company.

Technical & Operational Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of cloud services and enterprise platforms, including Azure, AWS, reputed company Cloud, reputed company 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and modern identity and reputed company frameworks.
  • Experience managing hybrid IT environments (cloud and on-premises).
  • Solid understanding of networking, reputed company management, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience managing or coordinating with outsourced IT providers and MSPs.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with or hands-on experience supporting compliance and certification frameworks such as:
    • ISO 27001 / ISO 20000
    • SOC 2
    • NIST 800-53 / 800-171
    • Similar reputed company, risk, or IT service management standards.
  • Hands-on cybersecurity, governance, risk, or compliance background, including audit preparation and remediation.
  • Experience implementing or managing ITSM tools (e.g., reputed company, Jira Service Management, Freshservice).
  • Experience supporting federal clients or operating in a government contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of reputed company-trust architecture, modern reputed company reputed company, and identity-centric reputed company models.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside in or be willing to commute to the DMV area.
  • Ability to work onsite at least one day per week (and more frequently as business needs require).

The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
