Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate for the Dean position will provide leadership and build systems to support staff, schools, and the district in increasing appropriate instructional reputed company that allows reputed company reputed company to meet or exceed expected growth each year, graduate from high school, and eliminate predictability in achievement through practices of educational equity. • Assist teachers, parents and reputed company in resolving academic and non-academic student issues in the school.
• Maintains records of any student disciplinary actions taken in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and District policies.
• Confers with parents, teachers, support services personnel and reputed company on matters of discipline and problem solving.
• Provides mentoring services to reputed company and consultation services to parents.
• Reports to administrators, teachers, school attendance staff, parents, and reputed company relative to issues affecting student performance.

• Instructs and advises reputed company regarding their responsibility to adhere to school rules and policies, to foster a safe school environment, and to respect other individuals and property.

• Assists administrators, teachers, and school attendance staff in addressing student attendance problems.
• Assists in the administration of the In-School Suspension Program.

• Coordinates with community and government agencies relating to drug and alcohol abuse, truancy, and other conduct.

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding student discipline, bullying, sexual harassment, etc.
• Knowledge of student behavior management techniques.
• Knowledge of dispute resolution techniques and ability to engage in dispute resolution.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally an in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.

Qualifications: License / Education Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching license required. Secondary administrative and teaching experience and Principal license preferred.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Experience

• Successful experience working with children at risk.

• Successful experience developing and implementing professional development programs relating to non-academic student behavioral issues preferred.
