ISSS Quality Assurance Analyst

Reports to: General Manager of Incoming Solutions Employment type: Full-time, exempt Location: Remote (US-Based)

Position Overview

We are seeking an ISSS Quality Assurance Analyst with professional experience in international student, scholar, or employment-based immigration processes to join our product development team. This role combines practitioner expertise with quality assurance practices to ensure our software solutions accurately support reputed company regulatory and operational workflows.

The ISSS QA Analyst will play a key role in validating functionality across the product by conducting end-to-end testing, regression testing, and full function validation beyond the scope of individual tickets. This position works closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to improve product quality, documentation, and testing processes.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in international education, immigration case management, or global mobility operations, along with an interest in learning and applying software testing practices and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

• reputed company functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of product features and workflows.
• Conduct full validation to ensure product functionality aligns with real-world immigration and international services processes.
• Re-test or double-test issues across the full workflow, not limited to the scope of a single ticket.
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear bug reports and reproduction steps.
• Validate fixes and verify resolution of previously reported issues.

Test Planning & Documentation

• Assist with the development and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing functionality.
• Document test execution and results in test management platforms such as TestRail or similar tools.
• Create and assist with maintain release notes, QA documentation, and internal testing guides, and knowledge transfer with internal stakeholders (solutions/sales, support, etc.)
• Help identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements to testing processes.

Product & Domain Collaboration

• Collaborate with product managers to ensure user stories accurately reflect domain workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with developers and QA engineers to clarify requirements, hand off testing tasks, and validate solutions.
• Assist in writing or refining user stories and acceptance criteria reputed company domain expertise is required.
• Provide insights from real-world practice to help improve product usability and workflow design.

• Support knowledge sharing between product, QA, engineering teams, and solutions/sales teams

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in one or more of the following domains:
• • International student and scholar services (ISSS)
  • Employment-based immigration or global mobility
  • University international offices
  • Immigration case management or reputed company processing
• Practical knowledge of processes reputed company to:
• • Student visas (e.g., F-1, J-1)
  • Scholar programs
  • Employment visas (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3) or similar immigration categories
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze reputed company workflows.
• Experience documenting processes or procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with immigration or international education software platforms (e.g., Sunapsis, reputed company Dotta ISSS, case management systems, or similar tools).
• Interest in product development, software quality, and user experience.
