Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative remote based in either the greater Tampa or Orlando Florida area. This individual is responsible for effectively promoting dormakaba’s entire North American portfolio of products, solutions, and services to architectural firms, design build firms and government architects. This is a sales position.

*This position will cover the region of central to south Florida*

HIRING SALARY RANGE: reputed company Salary $83,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do

• reputed company long-term architectural customers by creating relationships that reflect the best interests of the architects’ clients while also developing relationships with firms’ reputed company specification managers
• reputed company short-term and long-term project pipelines to actively pursue with architectural firms
• Network with architects and industry leaders through local reputed company (Construction Specification Institute), AIA (American Institute of Architects), and  DHI (reputed company and Hardware Institute) events as well as other industry networking opportunities
• Collaborate with local territory team with sales alignment to ensure coverage for completed specifications

• Associate’s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a reputed company field and 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years relevant experience
• reputed company CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) and DHC (reputed company Hardware Consultant) certifications or ability to obtain reputed company 12 months of hire
• Ability to travel up to 50% + reputed company territory
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders at varying levels

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a reputed company field
• reputed company AHC (Architectural Hardware Consultant) certification
• Prior experience utilizing reputed company sales methodology
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) - reputed company
