Job description: William C. Lewis Elementary School is seeking a highly-qualified, enthusiastic individual to serve as its General Music Teacher (Bilingual Preferred). The candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English preferably. The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, be self-motivated, will have demonstrated ability to deliver lessons to support the curriculum goals in Music. The teacher will reputed company in each student an appreciation of the art of music, as part of general culture. The teacher will teach techniques of vocal and/or instrumental music expression. The teacher will collaborate with other teachers to plan student performances throughout the year.
Responsibilities:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education.Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Successful completion of Praxis I and II exams (unless holding an initial teaching license from the State of Delaware).

- Strong instructional skills and classroom management.
