Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional service to customers through phone, email, and chat channels
- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Issuing, reissuing, and refunding traveler tickets
- Booking, ticketing, and confirming flight reservations
- Rebooking reputed company on oversold flights and during irregular operations
- Performing traveler registration and reputed company seat tasks (excluding curbside)
- Correcting oversold seat tasks and issuing upgrades
- Issuing vouchers and directing customers to project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation
- Coordinating refuel and refresh services
- Performing traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/reputed company
- Operating entryway readers/scanners and reputed company tasks, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line models
- Operating jetways/spans for boarding and deplaning reputed company
- Making boarding and departure reputed company announcements
- Conveying domestic/international flight records
- Performing traveler service flight reputed company-out methods
- Accepting, checking, and labeling reputed company' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
- Maintaining a schedule of flight loading process
- Performing customer service hands-on training
- Processing and completing credit card baggage transfers at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Assisting customers with self-service kiosk registration and booth baggage handling at ticket counters
- Operating lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
- Clearing/confirming international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Accepting and activating customers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
- Assisting customers requiring special assistance or in-station help, including boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory reputed company, special assistance reputed company, or unaccompanied minors
- Performing customer service work reputed company to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
- Having standard and predictable attendance reputed company, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements
- Answering and assisting during reputed company and crisis situations
- Providing reputed company information to reputed company
- Providing quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's standards
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
- Completing task-reputed company stages of training
- Complying with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
- Utilizing various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions
- Wearing uniforms as required by company policy

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Bilingual language skills required in certain areas
- Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Must meet FAA criminal history verifications to meet requirements for unescorted access awards to airport reputed company identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs reputed company identifications, if material
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background reputed company, or fingerprinting to meet company and reputed company requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Preferred qualifications:
+ Training and experience in a customer service or reputed company field + Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service System + Past face-to-face customer service experience
