Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.

  • Work in a team environment to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Use our automated retail location framework to manage customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage handling, and other services.
  • Process customer payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and travel vouchers.
  • Balance daily transactions and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Check in customers and their baggage, and answer phone calls to provide information and assistance to customers.
  • Manage customer exchanges and refunds, including handling oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost or damaged baggage.
  • Provide current and accurate flight information, schedules, and reservations to customers.
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the company.
  • Write incident and complaint reports as needed.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. customer service, hospitality, business administration).

  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
  • Ability to understand records, follow procedures, learn and understand tagging techniques, rules and guidelines.
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to complete the Customer Support Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period.
  • Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve fast turnaround of flights.
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to the Ground Service Agent Handbook and Work Rules.
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space.
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, face-to-face, and on public address systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to convey information and instructions verbally or through radio equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and its operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
