Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing phone support to patients receiving specialty medication treatment. You'll be the primary reputed company of contact for patients, answering their questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that their medication needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. If you're a people person with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities
* Provide phone support to patients receiving specialty medication treatment, answering their questions and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and updating patient information
- Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy's data system
- Collect and process copay payments, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with clinical or billing issues
- Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure that medication is delivered on time and that financial and clinical expectations are met
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve reputed company customer issues and provide empathetic support to patients and clients
Required Qualifications
* Active IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs reputed company phone
- One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, web navigation, and email applications
- One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness
Preferred Qualifications
* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
