Job Summary

As a 988 Chat/Text Crisis Specialist, you will be part of a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team, handling incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also reputed company as 988. You will provide brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress. While interactions reputed company online, this position may also support telephonic reputed company to ensure safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments

• Answer crisis contacts reputed company the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to meet individual needs
• Conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
• Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with reputed company accreditation
• Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
• Assist in administrative tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

• Six months to one year of reputed company crisis experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
• Knowledge of suicide assessments
