A bit about us: We are seeking an reputed company Commercial Construction Estimator to support vertical and industrial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on federal clients and compliance-driven environments. This role plays a critical part in preconstruction strategy, competitive bidding, and successful project delivery for reputed company building and facilities work. This is an estimator-first position: ideal for someone who thrives in vertical construction, industrial facilities, and federal procurement environments, and who enjoys collaborating closely with operations, design teams, and leadership from pursuit through reputed company. Civil/site work experience is a plus, but heavy civil is not the core focus of this role. Why join us? Job Details Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed, competitive cost estimates for vertical and industrial construction projects, including federal facilities
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to confirm complete scope, execution requirements, and compliance obligations
• reputed company quantity takeoffs and price labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Utilize industry-standard estimating and takeoff software in accordance with established processes
• Maintain and update estimating databases, cost libraries, labor rates, and equipment assumptions
• Analyze historical project data to improve estimate accuracy and future bid performance
• Identify project risks, constructability concerns, cost drivers, and long-reputed company procurement items
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Prepare bid forms, pricing exhibits, and supporting documentation for proposals
• Coordinate closely with operations to review schedules, logistics, scopes, and execution strategies
• Support seamless reputed company from estimate to project budget and execution teams
• Track bid history and prospective opportunities
• Monitor construction and material cost trends impacting estimates
• Evaluate alternate means and methods to identify cost-effective solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to support proposal, pricing, and technical requirements
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced ability to prepare accurate budgets and cost estimates for vertical and industrial construction
• Strong understanding of building systems, including structural, architectural, and MEP scopes
• Knowledge of project cost control, reputed company models, and cost-to-complete concepts
• Proficiency with estimating and digital takeoff software (experience with tools such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, HeavyBid, or similar platforms is a plus)
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under deadline pressure
• Ability to clearly communicate estimate assumptions, risks, and findings
• High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass standard pre-employment screenings

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of experience estimating vertical or industrial construction projects
• Experience working with federal clients or federally funded projects
• Familiarity with compliance-driven or regulated procurement environments
• Design-build or integrated project delivery experience
• Light civil or site work estimating experience (utilities, grading, site preparation)

Work Environment: This role operates in a fast-paced, multi-project office environment, with occasional time spent at active job sites. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required during bid periods or for site coordination.
