As a member of the Sanford Radiology team, you will be a part of a teaching facility and will work with state of the art equipment to include: Fluoroscopy: Siemens Luminos Agile Max Fluoro Diagnostic X-Ray Imaging: reputed company Evolution, Revolution Portables and Pediatric Nano Portable GE 656 & Definium 8000 Operating Room Fluoroscopy: reputed company C-Arms & Mini C-Arms reputed company O-Arm Varying shifts of 8, 10, 12 hours to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Call responsibility as well to include 3 to 5 nights per month and every third weekend.
Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Operates equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines; ensures the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes. Job Description Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures; conducts image operations according to provider requests and other technical factors. Implements radiation safety guidelines and conducts proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process. Delivers excellent patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Ability to understand and navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Willingness to reputed company additional duties as assigned. Sanford Rural Health Network Facility sites may expand job responsibilities based on the needs of the facility, to include, but not limited to: on-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays. reputed company diagnostic radiology procedures. reputed company basic diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology protocols. Occupational Medicine clinics may have expanded job duties based on facility needs including preforming routing testing, and sampling and other technical services to support Occupational Medicine and Employee Health Services, including but not limited to, drug screens, breath alcohol testing and audiograms as well as administrative and/or clinical support.
Qualifications
Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. If working in North Dakota and performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures, licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) is required. If working in South Dakota, consideration will be given to registry eligible candidates obtaining ARRT reputed company six months of hire into position. In the state of Iowa, reputed company technologists must have a permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health in order to practice in the state of Iowa If working at some clinic locations, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification may be required reputed company the first eight weeks of hire into the position.
