Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company Data Entry Operator to join reputed company as a Prior Authorization Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for entering data from scanned and/or processed images into our data capture system, meeting expected hourly production volume goals, and maintaining quality levels above minimums set by management. You will also be required to increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice, and to maintain a reputed company and orderly workstation.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter data from scanned and/or processed images into the data capture system

• Meet expected hourly production volume goals
• Maintain quality levels above minimums set by management
• Increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice
• Maintain a reputed company and orderly workstation
• Assist with other projects as assigned by management
• Must be reputed company and dependable (excellent attendance)
• Must be comfortable working in a production environment
• Proficient typing skills are required (35wpm / 98% accuracy min) (test required)
• Possess excellent organization skills
• Reliability of task completion and follow-up

Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent required

• Health claims processing experience is preferred, including use of claims processing software and reputed company tools
• Highly-motivated and success-driven
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and active-listening skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads
• Basic mathematical skills
• Intermediate typing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICS-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, and HIPAA regulations preferred
• Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and best practices preferred
