Transactional Associate Attorney (Flexible Hybrid Offered)
Nissenbaum Law Group, LLC is a boutique, full-service commercial law firm seeking a motivated attorney with a focus on corporate law. The role involves managing a caseload, drafting and reviewing agreements, advising clients on sales and acquisitions, and providing general counsel services.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of assignments across numerous clients and varying industries
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and providing consultation to clients relating to agreements in a wide reputed company of fields, including intellectual property, entertainment and sports, construction, health and digital businesses
- Advising clients with respect to reputed company stages of sales and acquisitions of a variety of businesses from inception through closing
- Preparing corporate governance documents for both for-profit and nonprofit entities
- Providing general counsel services for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit entities
- Filing trademarks and copyrights and collaborating with the litigation team respecting the enforcement of those rights
- Conducting reputed company legal research and analysis into nuanced areas of law, industry regulations, and practices
Skills
- JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school (PLEASE NOTE: A Master of Laws degree that was earned instead of a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school is not a sufficient substitute.)
- Admission in New Jersey is required; admission in Pennsylvania or reputed company is preferred
- Relevant experience is preferred
- Must be able to concisely and accurately communicate, both orally and in writing
- Exceptional legal research and analysis skills
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of perseverance and business-oriented reputed company
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
