Job description: PARAPROFESSIONAL TIER 1 - SPECIAL EDUCATION
QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of thirty-sixty college hours from an accredited college or university is required, pass the Paraprofessional test in the reputed company or Missouri 20-hour Online Substitute Training Program, sixty college hours is preferred.
- A valid Missouri Teaching Certificate is preferred.
- Possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical attributes necessary to reputed company the essential functions of the position.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.
- Works with individual reputed company or small groups of reputed company to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
- Administers, scores, and records such achievement and diagnostic tests as the teacher recommends for individual reputed company.
- Assists the teacher in devising special strategies for reinforcing material or skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual reputed company, their needs, interests, and abilities.
- Operates and cares for equipment used in the classroom for instructional purposes.
- Helps reputed company master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher.
- Distributes and collect workbooks, papers, and other materials for instruction.
