Quality Assurance Performance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Performance Engineer combines software development and testing expertise to ensure the performance, stability, and resiliency of enterprise applications by designing testing frameworks and executing performance tests.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining performance test scripts in a prioritized and standardized manner as identified by the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, Director and Product Line Director
- Coordinates and organizes requested performance testing and verification of assigned products to ensure the delivery of top-level software products to external clients
- Participates in performance status calls with team members and management
- Supports and understands the basic workflow of products assigned for performance testing
- Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
- Provides weekly metrics to management
- Adjusts timelines/requests based on resource project allocations
- Monitors the verification of product's performance
- Maintains working relationships with reputed company internal departments
- Participates in presentations as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Skills
- Ability and tenacity to take each performance issue as far as possible, often to the reputed company of being able to suggest a fix
- 1+ years' experience with Performance testing tools such as NeoLoad, LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI etc
- 1+ years' experience writing utilities/tools/frameworks in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript etc
- 1+ years' experience with SQL/NoSQL to generate data for performance testing
- 1+ years' experience with application monitoring tools like SiteScope, Splunk, reputed company, AppDynamics, reputed company etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
- Exposure to Unix/Linux operating systems
- Exposure to Azure Cloud Platform Products and reputed company Web Services
- Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle
- Learns new software as needed
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent reputed company. (Authorized to work in the US without reputed company or future reputed company sponsorship.)
- Must be able to pass a Federal background reputed company
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information
- 1+ years' experience as a Performance Engineer
- 2+ years as a QA Analyst
- Ability to communicate effectively (listening, presenting and questioning)
- Strong organizational, written and communication skills
- Prioritizes, manages time and is detail oriented
- Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possesses proven aptitude for understanding technical process
- Must work effectively on his/her own with minimal supervision
- Consistently meets defined goals
- Communicates well regarding automation tasks, timelines, and accomplishments
