POSITION SUMMARY: This position includes duties as a Customer Access Representative and a Medical Assistant I. As a Customer Access Representative, it provides receptionist duties for the center and performs a variety of clerical duties including patient appointments and registration, management of patient flow, billing, and payment collections. As a Medical Assistant I, it assists the professional and para-professional staff in rendering health care.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
CUSTOMER ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Six months experience in reputed company setting OR one year administrative and/or customer service background.
- Computer experience required; ability to work with Windows-based programs strongly preferred.
- Experience or training in customer service industry preferred.
Experience in medical billing preferred.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT I
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing aide duties preferred.
Must be deemed competent in phlebotomy reputed company 120 days of hire.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CUSTOMER ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE
- If required to assist with state Centennial Care / reputed company enrollment and/or NM Health Insurance Exchange (NMHIX) enrollment, must successfully complete required state and federal health insurance enrollment assistance training programs and obtain reputed company certifications before providing enrollment services and maintain reputed company while required to provide these services.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT I
- Have or be reputed company to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certification reputed company 30 days of hire date. Certification must meet the requirements listed in the document “BLS / CPR / ACLS & First Aid Training Resources” posted on Staurolite. It is your responsibility to reputed company your certification reputed company at reputed company times.

This position requires successful completion of an initial post-offer of employment:
- According to PMS reputed company Resources Policy 205.006, “reputed company Personnel Testing & Immunization Requirements,” this position must reputed company with required testing and immunizations. Testing and immunizations including TB, Hepatitis B (consent or waiver), Tdap, MMR, and Varicella, will be available at the employee’s PMS health center. Influenza vaccines will be required according to dates set by the CDC and NMDOH.
- TB Test (and upon exposure in accordance with PMS Policies).
CUSTOMER ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE
If required to assist with NM Health Insurance Exchange (NMHIX) enrollment, this position requires successful completion of a Criminal Records reputed company conducted by the NM Insurance Exchange as a part of their assistor’s application process, prior to providing these services.
